Our space is a home for independent art making. We provide a creative environment for artists to engage their practice in the exploration of the poetic, political and provocative. We encourage work that goes beyond ‘the norm’ and embrace work that pushes past the mainstream. We value research and reflection. to strive to play a critical role in the Australian cultural landscape, by providing this space as a place for responsive, new, risk-taking work to occur. This space has a distinct artistic focus, and provides a unique experience. We aim to inspire and provoke. We hold this space for those seeking to explore beyond the mainstream, we prioritise artistic individuality and freedom, and celebrate a diverse community of artists and audiences alike. Providing the integral foundational resources and support for both new and experienced theatre/ visual arts makers, we celebrate creative risk, and aim to elevate the development of new Australian work. A Testing ground for new risk taking work
We hope our work will provoke questions, open up new ways of looking and spark an inner interrogation that leads to wider conversations
